Shopping transport services
Community Connect Transport offers shopping services to enable people to access shopping from their own homes. Australian and State Government or Local Council funding may be used and directed to various people, such as frail aged or people who are isolated from access to public transport.
You can book a permanent pick up, or travel occasionally. A small fare can be asked for either a single or return journey, however clients are not denied a service if unable to pay. Carers can accompany a frail aged or a person with a disability, at no extra cost. A limit of two shopping bags per person applies.
