Twenty five years and half a million journeys – that’s what Lower North Shore Community Transport (LNSCT) celebrated as their longest serving drivers took to the stage at North’s.
Federal Member Trent Zimmerman, State Member Felicity Wilson and Mayor Jilly Gibson joined over 130 guests to recognise the dedicated and committed service of a team that always goes ‘the extra mile’ for our loyal customers.
Community transport pioneer, Ted Mack had a vision for a safe and affordable transport service for our residents. Just 2 buses saw the beginning of a service that now has a fleet of modern vehicles ‘transporting our customers from here………. to there,’ every day, every week, every month for 25 years.
LNSCT President, Paul Ashby said ”Our community has recognised the top quality service our drivers have offered to local residents for over a quarter of a century.”
LNSCT General Manager, Robert Bell said “Today marks a milestone in our history with half a million trips for our customers who have given our service a 95% plus rating.”
