Community Connect Transport will advise you of our fees within the Client Welcome correspondence provided to you upon your initial registration and at the time of booking.
Any forthcoming fee variation associated with our services will be advised in writing. All fees stated are correct as of March 27, 2023.
Clients are encouraged to advise Community Connect Transport Services if at any time they are experiencing financial hardship which may impact upon their ability to pay any fee or advertised costs. No one accessing funded programs will be refused service on the basis of their inability to pay our fees and charges.
Community Connect Transport utilises all fee revenue to enhance and expand the provision of services to our clients.
Breakdown of Transport Fees
Community Connect Transport’s services are delivered through the support of the Department of Health’s Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP), Transport for New South Wales Community Transport Program (CTP), the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), the Home Care Package (HCP) program, local councils and private clients.
Funded by the Australian Government, the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) provides eligible clients with transport services at a subsidised rate. Clients, if they can afford to do so, pay a contribution fee towards the cost of services.

Eligibility for CHSP subsidised transport services with Community Connect Transport.
If you are over 65 years of age (or 50 for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders) and reside in the Lane Cove, Willoughby, North Sydney or Mosman local government areas, please contact My Aged Care on 1800 200 422 to discuss and confirm your eligibility for subsidised transport. If eligible, please request Community Connect Transport as your preferred transport service provider in your discussions with My Aged Care.

The Community Transport Program (CTP) assists individuals who are transport disadvantaged and do not qualify for other support programs. Please contact us to discuss your eligibility for this subsidised transport, being subject to availability and by agreement with Community Connect Transport.
Payment Options:
Individual Transport fees can be collected by;
- cash directly to the driver at the time of transport
- credit card payment (Visa or Mastercard) at the time of booking
- monthly account (Direct Debit Authorisation form required)
Home Care Package (HCP) and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) clients are invoiced monthly for settlement by their Provider, or directly with the NDIS client if Self-Managed, as noted in their Agreement with Community Connect Transport.
Monthly Account Direct Debit payment option
This payment method provides for our clients to book transport services on a monthly account basis with no payment required at the time of booking or on the day of travel. An itemised invoice of monthly trips will be generated within 14 days of the month end for our clients review before direct debit (Credit Card of EFT) automated payment is taken on the noted due date.
Registration for this payment method requires the completion of our Direct Debit Authorisation Form.
