Community Connect Transport has a program of social outings and events each month.
These outings provide a great opportunity to get out and about and explore new locations. Come and join us for a delicious lunch, visit an art gallery or museum to view the latest exhibitions, take a shopping excursion, explore flower and plant nurseries, or enjoy coffee and a snack in cosy cafes and much more. You’ll have the chance to meet new people, build friendships and expand your social network. Our drivers and social volunteers on each trip are always ready to listen and can provide assistance where needed. Our vehicles are selected for ease of access, and many are wheelchair accessible.
The cost of the outings vary, depending on the destination and any meals or applicable entry fees are not included, unless stated in the events program.
Our program of popular Social Outings and Events changes every month and includes visits to:
- Plant and Flower Nurseries where you can explore the beautiful range of plants, browse the gift shops, enjoy a cup of coffee or a light meal in the cafe
- Lunches at specially selected venues including sailing clubs, charming pubs and a variety of restaurants
- Scenic day trips including our very popular Christmas In July in The Blue Mountains.

How do I book Community Connect?
Once you have registered with Community Connect Transport you can make a booking via the website, (click on the Transport Service below that you would like to book), or email [email protected] or call our Customer Service Team on 9490 9500. If the phone is unattended please leave a message.
When making a booking please have on hand the following information:
- Your Appointment Time
- Full Destination Address
- Doctor’s Name/Clinic number
- Surgery Contact Phone Number
- Indication of Length of Appointment
Two (2) days prior to your trip you will receive an automated phone call to confirm your pick-up time. For bookings less than three (3) working days out, please call our Customer Service Team on 9490 9500 to check availability.
If transport is available you will be asked to be ready to be picked up at least half an hour before your scheduled collection time.
