Community Connect Transport recognises that many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders may be transport disadvantaged.
We provide transport assistance to attend medical appointments and access social and cultural events. For Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders over 50 years of age, the Australian Government provides transport help through MyAgedCare. To check your eligibility for our services call the MyAgedCare contact centre on 1800 200 422 or visit their website: www.myagedcare.gov.au All our vehicles are selected for ease of access, and many are wheelchair accessible, enabling passengers with various levels of mobility a choice of transport.
To enquire about our transport services, eligibility and fees please contact Community Connect Transport on: 94909500 The Community Connect Transport services office is open Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.00pm and our wonderful drivers are available to transport residents from 7.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Advance bookings are essential. Bookings made less than three working days in advance will be put on standby if we are fully booked.
If you are an existing client then make a booking. If you are new to Community Connect Transport, you will need register your details by registering as a new client.
How do I book Community Connect Transport?
Once you have registered with Community Connect Transport you can make a booking via the website, (click on the Transport Service below that you would like to book), or email [email protected] or call our Customer Service Team on 9490 9500. If the phone is unattended please leave a message.
When making a booking please have on hand the following information:
- Your Appointment Time
- Full Destination Address
- Doctor’s Name/Clinic number
- Surgery Contact Phone Number
- Indication of Length of Appointment
Two (2) days prior to your trip you will receive an automated phone call to confirm your pick-up time. For bookings less than three (3) working days out, please call our Customer Service Team on 9490 9500 to check availability.
